About Us
The Snyder Nation was founded November 1, 2009 – a day which will forever be etched in our memories and our lives were forever changed.
About Snyder Nation Foundation
Our goal is to raise awareness of brain cancer
Craig was the kind of daddy that every little girl wishes for, the kind of husband every woman wishes for, and the kind of friend everyone wishes for. He was supportive, kind, and loving. His sense of humor, sparkling eye and twitch of a mustache could lighten most anyone’s gray mood – and he always had just the right words.
On that fateful day in November 2009, Craig visited the hospital where a hospital scan revealed three spots on his brain. He had remained mostly asymptomatic until more recent times. We were clueless that anything as tragic as brain cancer was about to befall our family.
The Snyder Nation Foundation has been fighting our cause for twelve years.
What We Do
How We Give Back
Raise Awareness
Each of our events is centered around raising awareness for glioblastoma multiforme.
- GBM accounts for half of all primary brain and central nervous system cancers
- GBM is considered a rare disease and is therefore granted little funding for curative research
Fund Research
Over the years we have donated to help fund neuro-oncologic research, including:
- Funding to help understand the role of epigenetics in brain tumor biology
- Funding to help understand GBM resistance to current treatment options to help find new, more effective treatments
Our Team
